Let’s Be A Gold Digger.
GOLD DIGGERS
Let’s be one of the ones who is known for looking for and calling out the gold in others, who speaks with great grace and kindness about others and to others.
There is such a rampant critical spirit and voice in the world these days, people can hardly share a thought or comment or simply share a peek into their world without the possibility of having a stranger (or Facebook “friend”) coming behind with a mean-spirited criticism, gossip, or argumentative comments that are just totally unnecessary. There is a time and place to call out what’s truly wrong, but a lot of the time, we haven’t been given the authority or responsibility to address or add our two cents about every little thing we disagree with in other people’s lives.
On the other hand, we have full freedom to call out the things that are beautiful and true, the GOLD in the people around us, the things that build a person up and encourage them in the purpose and destiny God has for them. We can be as free as we want to genuinely speak with kindness, wisdom, grace, and love. And as we do, we’ll be a breath of fresh air to people.
Some things never get old; kindness is never out of turn, out of place, or out of style. Share on XThere’s not a person out there who doesn’t need someone to call out the gold in them. We are all generally fully aware of where we’re missing it or coming up short without the need for people to point it out. But what a gift it is to have someone call out the things we’re doing well, the ways we’re doing a good job. I know I need it, and I’m sure you do, too.
So let’s be ones known for being dream-defenders, courage-builders, hope-fillers, faith-stirrers, grace-givers, peoples cheerleaders and all around GOLD DIGGERS.
