Hopeful Expectation

Today Could Be The Day

Hopeful Expectations

The dictionary defines “expect” as a verb (which implies an action), meaning to look forward to; regard as likely to happen; anticipate the occurrence or the coming of; to look for with reason or justification.

It’s so important to keep an expectant heart… it’s a picture of having HOPE alive in you. It’s regarding the promises of God as sure to happen… living with hope-filled anticipation of His Word coming to pass, believing He is a Promise Keeper and Way Maker. When we live our lives expecting God to show Himself faithful, we’ll never be let down or disappointed.

Let’s live with a hope-filled anticipation of a move of God in our lives, expecting God has heard and will answer our prayers, that He will help us when we call on Him, that He is true to His Word.

You never know what a day might bring… TODAY COULD BE THE DAY. Let’s EXPECT Him to reveal Himself to us each and every day. He’s such a BIG God… there’s nothing He cannot do. He will always prove Himself faithful in our lives.

There’s something beautiful about a heart that stays full of hope and expectation in Him… it’s a heart that leans straight forward into the promises of God and sees them come to pass in her life, for her good, the good of others, and for the glory of His name.

Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. Psalm 27:14

I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord, and He inclined to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1

When they see me waiting, expecting your Word, those who fear you will take heart and be glad. Psalm 119:74

Psalm 119:74
